Scams - MCO Capital Ltd |
|
We have had reports from NHW members of letters being sent by a bogus company calling itself MCO Capital Ltd.
The letter states that a previously agreed loan, giving the amount in pounds, should be repaid. before a given date that is stipulated in the letter. It also gives the details of an account number in the name of MCO Loan payments inviting the bemused recipient to pay the sum by bank transfer or by credit card.
Please make your neighbours aware that the letter and the firm MCO Capital Ltd are bogus and are under investigation, therefore you should not attempt to communicate with them.
The letter also gives a telephone number for credit card payment.
It is believed that this number when rung is charged at a premium rate.
