Trading Standards has been made aware of Lottery Scam Tickets circulating the South Staffordshire area after an elderly couple received a letter claiming they had won £400,000.

The letter, purporting to be from ‘EuroMillion Lottery International’ claimed that the couple had won £400,000 and that all they had to do was telephone a contact number and hand over their bank details.

The elderly couple immediately contacted Consumer Direct who informed them that it was a scam.
